The Faux Derix
This track is called 'Pitchfork Peasants' from the local Indianapolis 5-piece Alternative Rock band The Faux Derix! This is a duper rocking but dynamic track that really show's the band's talents!
We tracked this in the fall of 2022. Everything was tracked & engineered at Singular Path Audio, and I also mixed & mastered this track. I'm particularly proud of this one, because the guitar tone is crushing, and the drum sound is one of my personal favorites that I've ever achieved. We whipped out my 1976 Slingerland Steel Snare Drum and Ben (The drummer) was paricularly fond of it, that he would jokingly pretend to steal it! haha. Anyway, I feel super good about this track.
